Spectrodensitometers–Model
SpectroEye
SpectroEye
from GretagMacbeth is a handheld, portable Spectropho¬tometer
which offers all the Colorimetric functions needed
to accurately measure and control special colors along
with all the densitometric functions needed to quickly
and easily monitor color on press. The Modular software
structure helps the customer to choose only those
functions that are needed the most & the Integrated
White tile ensures that the instrument is always in
a Calibrated condition.
Densitometers–Model
DensiEye 700
The
DensiEye 700 portable reflection densitometer from
GretagMacbeth provides a high speed, high level of
automation and accuracy. It measures all critical
factors in the printing process to help set up the
press quicker and recognize mistakes before they get
out of control, making it a cost effective addition
to any pressroom running CMYK jobs. The unique Pass/Fail
Indicator’s (PFI) Red & Green light immediately
indicates whether the color is within or outside tolerance.

Control Software–Color Quality

Color Quality you will be able to meet the quality
standards from the very beginning of every job. For
each new job, you enter references and set color standards
and tolerances. You also store information about the
measurement conditions for each customer and any other
important order details. The same color data can be
checked, compared, displayed and statistically evaluated
according to various criteria. Trends, CIELab, spectral
values and statistics can be viewed at a glance.

total system for accurate ink mixing, from the lab
to the kitchen from the smallest printer’s kitchen
to the most sophisticated ink manufacturer’s
lab, Ink Formulation 5 is the software of choice for
fast, accurate recipe creation, storage, approval,
and retrieval. Formulates inks with speed and ease
when printers need special colors, delays in getting
the right ink on press can cost them precious time,
customer satisfaction, even missed deadlines.

Color Viewing Light Booth–Model Judge II
The
GretagMacbeth Judge II is a Light booth with various
light sources; an important benefit of evaluating
colors under multiple light sources is the ability
to detect Metamerism. This phenomenon occurs when
colors appear to match less then one set of viewing
conditions but fail to match under another.
