India Package Meet travels the state of Gujarat for an entire week following a Vibrant Trail of opportunity.
India Package Meet, the roving event of Print-Packaging.Com Pvt. Ltd. is back and will be traversing the vibrant trail through the most industrialised and flourishing regions of the state of Gujarat. The week long sojourn will begin at Vapi on 6 September, move on to Ahmadabad on 8 September and sign off at Rajkot on 10 September.
Vapi: One of the important cities of Gujarat, Vapi, in terms of industries is the second largest industrial area in whole Asia. Major industries in the city include chemicals, dyes, paints, paper, pharmaceuticals, plastics, rubber, textiles, woods, glass, food products and packaging.
India Package Meet at Vapi will reach out to the over 10,000 small and big industries in the district of Valsad as well as drawing in the hundreds of industries from Silvassa, Daman and Diu while also reaching up to the districts of Navsari and Surat.
Ahmedabad: It is one of the largest industrial hubs of western India, enjoying a prominent position on the industrial map of the country owing to its importance as a base of trade, commerce and industry. The city has got its glory as a major trade destination due to its proximity to the port at Surat. Flourishing as a textile and petrochemical industry, Ahmedabad is equally famous for its chemical and Pharmaceutical industries.
The event at Ahmedabad will also cover the industrial districts of Bharuch, Vadodara and Anand besides Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
Rajkot: The largest city in Saurashtra and fourth largest in Gujarat, Rajkot, is considered to be the economic, industrial and educational hub of the region. The current trend of industrial growth in the city is towards the engineering and autoancillary sector. The district also has various manufacturing units for machine tools, industrial equipments, lathe machines, metallurgical industries, electronics, engineering and auto ancillary sector.
The Meet at Rajkot will target over 15 Industrial Estates in the district besides 2 Special Economic Zones (SEZ) and 9 industrial estates in the district of Jamnagar, 6 industrial estates of Junagadh, 8 industrial estates of Surendranagar and other areas of the Kathiawad peninsula.

India Package Meet will comprise of a Table Top Exhibition that will showcase products and services on a tabletop featuring 25 companies at each venue. The exhibition will provide an unparalleled networking opportunity to the exhibitors to meet focused customers and peers in a semi formal business setting.
At the core of the meet will also be a half-day conference that will focus on technological developments in packaging and package printing.
The Meet will provide the visitors with an opportunity to get a preview of the main exhibition to be held in Mumbai in the month of November this year.
