SealPac Inc. is a budding packaging solutions provider with a vast range of innovative aluminum foil based packing products for pharmaceutical, confectionary, dairy, oil, lubricants and various other industries.

Started in the year 1998 as Chempro Impex by founder Shiv Purohit, the company had humble beginnings as an authorized distributor of various bulk-drugs, intermediates and solvents. “With time, aluminum foil trading and distribution was added to our portfolio and as a natural transition, manufacturing of foil based packaging materials was added in 2000,” informs Aditya Purohit, Director of Operations, SealPac.

As the Chempro group is diversifying further in to IT, Solar Technology and Security systems, the packaging business has been shifted under the new name of SealPac. With the new name, they are also adding a new product line of specialized multi-layer pouches for food and pharmaceutical industries. Today, under the Chempro Brand they are manufacturing a wide variety of induction Wads, Curd-lids, foil strips, Blister foils, Aluminum food-containers and more with most of the machinery in-house. “With over a decade in the business and at-least three decades of joint experience, our focus is now towards developing better, greener products using bio-degradable materials,” says Aditya.

Sharing the future plans of the company, Aditya says, “We are currently in process of setting up a new facility in Hyderabad to cater to the US and European markets. The new unit will not only add pouches to our product line, but also increase our production capacity to around 45 million Wads per month and foil-lids capacity will increase by an additional 40 percent.
