India Packaging Show Moves to South
Fifth edition of the exhibition will be held at
Hyderabad
The Indian Packaging Industry has tremendous
potential as the per capita consumption of packaging in
India amounts to only $ 15; the global average being $ 100.
Consumption is being boosted by the increasing demand for
food, beverages and everyday consumer goods. Amid these
promising possibilities, South India has been growing as
a major industry hub. The special edition of India Packaging
Show 2010, scheduled from 9-12 April 2010 at HITEX, Hyderabad,
decides to explore rising prospects of this region.
“In its 5th edition, The India Packaging
Show moves to the modern Hitex Exhibition Centre at Hyderabad
in April 2010 for the first time and will bring into focus
the emerging opportunities in the fast industrialising markets
of South India,” says Neetu Arora on behalf of Print-Packaging.Com
Pvt. Ltd, the organizers of the Show.
The exhibition aims to bring together the
worldwide manufacturers and providers of machinery, materials
and services for packaging.
Key personnel from top and middle management
responsible for package development, procurement, production,
IT systems and quality control from user industries across
the board are targeted to visit the exhibition. The special
focus will lie with food, pharmaceuticals, personal care,
retail and logistics industries.
The debutant Bulk Pack 2010, running concurrently
with India Packaging Show will add value to the experience
of visitors and exhibitiors, giving them a leveraged opportunity
to partake in this emerging field. “More than 115
exhibitors have already signed up and the bookings are being
received thick and fast. This special edition of IPS will
set the stageay for the record breaking success of our flagship
event- PackPlus 2010, the total packaging, processing and
supply chain event scheduled from 3-6 Dec, 2010 at New Delhi,”
says Neetu Arora.
