How would you comment on the Indian Packaging Industry? Where would you place Pro-face in it?
The Indian Packaging Industry, today, has realised the importance of cost reduction, rationalization of designs, efficiency and simplicity. These are some of the basic and fundamental requirements to keep the company on the go. Pro-face India, in this scenario, has been smart enough to quickly grasp this demand of the market to reflect on the new launches of its low-cost products offering high-end features at excellent value.

Tell us about the product range from Pro-face.
Being one of the world leaders in industrial automation and factory data communication products since its inception in 1972, Pro-face has been a leading brand in Human Machine Interfaces (HMI). Pro-face introduced HMI into the industrial market in 1989 and since then has been re-defining the HMI Operator Terminal by introducing the latest concepts demanded by the Industry.

Pro-face has a complete line-up of Graphic Operator Interface panels, whose features and reliability, speak for themselves. This includes the flagship product - AGP3000 Series, LT3000 Touch PLCs, PL/PS3000 Panel PCs and FP3000 Flat Panel Monitors.

What are the Softwares launched by Pro-face to meet the further demand of simplicity and effectiveness of products?
Software upgradation has been in line to echo the voices of the customers to further simplify, accelerate and enhance the performance capabilities:
GP-Pro EX Ver 2.6: A single software for all Proface 3000 products is a highly advanced screen creation tool developed with usability, reusability and design efficiency as a top priority.

Pro-Server EX: A Data Management Software including features like Data Management with a PC, Animation, XY Graph Plot and 3D Objects, etc., along with erudite functions like Online Maintenance, Object level Security, Full fledged program simulation and Web/FTP Server, apart from the routine requirements like alarms, recipes, sampling, etc.

Brief us on the products you would be displaying at the India packaging Show 2010.
The highlight in IPS is the introduction of GP4100 Series - small-sized 3.4” Full Graphic Programmable Operator Interface. It stands apart in its own class owing to unmatchable features like high resolution of 200 x 80 pixels, analog touch panel, 16 levels of shade and colour, 3-colour backlight, 2 USB Interfaces, connectivity to 3rd party serial devices, free software and programmability by any ordinary USB mini-B Cable. GP4100 being an Interface product, like other AGP or AST series, is vital in its own way in various sectors covering packaging, automobile, pharmaceuticals, chemical, cement and F&B industries.

These products, as with all other previously launched ones, have been designed to help achieve the common goals in the production floor for efficiency improvement and quality improvement. The state-of-the-art AGP series is equipped with the most advanced features for connectivity with almost all controllers, with a quality the industry can rely upon.
