The second core group meeting of India Packaging
Show and Bulk Pack 2010 was held on 29 Jan, 2010 at Hyderabad.
Promising
to provide maximum value to its exhibitors and visitors
and creating a knowledge and business exchange platform
for the packaging industry, the India Packaging Show and
Bulk Pack 2010 is on roll. The second core group meeting
of the event was held recently to review the promotional
program and finalize speakers for the Bulk Pack conference.
“With the huge response we have received from the
industry, we expect the total number of exhibitors to cross
200. The visitor registrations are also proceeding at a
brisk pack,” said Anil Arora updating the attendees
on Bulk Pack 2010. “Visitor promotions through website,
newsletter, e-mails, direct mailers, participation in industry
shows, personal visits and telephone calls are proceeding
apace so that the exhibition is a grand success and visitors
from different industry sectors and policy making bodies
are present,” he added.

Talking about the promotional campaigns for the event, MK
Jha said, “FAPCCI has already started promoting the
event and we would be in full swing by the last week of
February. We would cover all important districts like Vizag,
Chittoor and Guntur.”
The meeting, in an attempt to highlight the methods of wastage
reduction and safety measures for big bags, gave way to
an extensive discussion on FIBCs. The FIBC safety issues,
standards, test procedures, stackability and breathability
were conferred and awareness on good FIBC vendors was found
imperative.
“Inputs from Core Group Meetings have helped Print-Packaging.Com
to provide world class knowledge platforms in the past,”
stated Anil Arora. “The rich inputs provided by members
would help significantly in making both the exhibition and
seminar a grand success and add value to exhibitors, participants
and visitors,” he concluded.
