Most
of us are just about settling back into our daily
routines after a visit to Interpack, one of the world’s
largest packaging exhibitions. Over the years the
event has become a hotbed for trends and developments.
This year there was a clear trend of machinery manufacturers
from southern Asia focusing on becoming custmised
end to end solution providers by integrating products
from other sources into composite production lines
for which they are willing to undertake guarantee
on performance. There were several well known Indian
Companies exhibiting at Interpack 2008. Most of them
had booked stands themselves while few were part of
stands booked by parent compnies. Either way Indian
Companies made their presence felt in a bigger way
than ever before.
One
of the largest exhibitors from India was Jindal Polyfilms.
The company displayed a full range of their BOPET
and BOPP films. Maker polyfilms, also an exhibitor
displayed their whole range of products including
PVC and Pet films for conventional shrink sleevs and
labels with high shrink and transparency and low thickness
varioation. Multupack systems displayed their high
speed chocolate wrapping machine and row feeding system.
Amongst other exhibitors dipalying their products
at the exhibition were Manish packaging, Nichrome
India Pakona Engineers Parksons packaging, Positive
Packaging, Precision Gears, Span Filling Systems,
Subnil Packaging Machineries, Sunrise Packaging, Uflex,
Wondmoller & Holcher and Wraptech machines.
