Jubilant, Nicholas Piramal In Race To Buy Cambrex
Country's two leading pharma firms Jubilant Organosys and Nicholas Piramal are in race to acquire US-based life science firm Cambrex, a deal which could mark largest ever acquisition in the Indian pharma space.
The size of the deal is expected to be around & 700-800 million, according to market sources.
KPMG and McKinsey are the financial consultants for Jubilant for this acquisition while, Bearstearns advises Cambrex.
Meanwhile, highly placed market sources were quoted in a daily newspaper saying that the deal is likely to be announced soon.
