Godrej Close To Acquiring S African Co
The Godrej Group is close to acquiring a leading South African consumer firm.
Details of the negotisations are still under way.
Godrej currently operates from 10 countries; Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE, Oman, Mauritius, UK and USA. The company is keen to add China and South African to the list, he said, hoping to sizeably increase the revenue of the company from the present 15 per cent from foreign operations.
