The Indian Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container Association (IFIBCA) is the exclusive body registered as a company formed by the FIBCs manufacturers and exporters, in the year 2001. The membership of IFIBCA is open to only FIBC manufacturers and exporters with complete integrated facilities from tape manufacturing through fabrication, printing and complete quality inspection. The association is primarily formed to promote the use of FIBCs and expand its market. The IFIBCA acts as the catalyst for expansion in export and domestic market growth, establishment of quality standards, assistance in quality upgradation and provide significant international recognition. Importantly the IFIBCA also addresses the industrial and fiscal issues faced by the members. IFIBCA represents more than 80% of the manufacturing capacity in India. It is the primary concern of IFIBCA to address problems of common nature and present a platform for the members where issues of mutual interest can be discussed.
